About the Race
SAIL NOUMEA 2015 - Starting Saturday 20 June 2015
Sail Noumea is the signature ocean yachting event for the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron.
The race will start at 1200 to the east of Green Island on Brisbane's beautiful Moreton Bay. After clearing Moreton Bay, yachts won't sight land again until they see the Amadee Light south of the capital of New Caledonia, Noumea; and whilst the fringing reefs of New Caledonia can be tricky the crews will know that the reception they get at Cercle Nautique Caledonian will be warm and welcoming.
